Thanks You 2025 From London Agentic AI: Largest Technical Agentic AI Community in the UK

As 2025 comes to a close, I want to say a sincere thank you to everyone who helped make London Agentic AI what it has become in such a short time. We officially started London Agentic AI in September 2025. In just four months, this community grew to more than 1,400 members. More importantly, it grew into a deeply technical, builder-first space focused on real world Agentic AI systems.

What we experienced this year did not feel like typical meetups. Rooms were packed. Discussions were conference level. Panels turned into long, thoughtful Q&A sessions driven by real problems from production systems. There were no sales pitches, no recruitment agendas, and no VC narratives. It was pure Agent Engineering.

Something Different from Traditional AI Scene in London

London has a vibrant and fast growing AI ecosystem, there are many events going on Luma everyday. At the same time, many AI meetups follow familiar patterns. Some are designed primarily for hiring. Others are driven by venture agendas. Many replicate formats imported from Silicon Valley, some events involves product promotions from companies and corporate talks.

London Agentic AI was built from the ground up to be different. We started from zero. No playbook. No copied format. No inherited audience. Everything was shaped by the community itself and by a shared belief that London deserves a deeply technical, practitioner-led Agentic AI space. Growing from 0 to 1,400 members in four months was only possible because of the trust, support, and active participation of this community. Huge thanks to the Speakers, panelists and the companies who supported us in the early stage of the events.

Recognition from the Global MCP Ecosystem

One of the proudest moments of the year was seeing London Agentic AI featured in the Year of the MCP blog, celebrating the first anniversary of the Model Context Protocol. Being recognized alongside the global MCP ecosystem is a strong validation of what this community is building in London. The blog highlights the talk by Macey from Tessl, and it reflects the broader technical depth and relevance of the discussions happening in our meetups. This recognition shows that the work being done here is not only locally impactful, but also globally relevant. You can read the blog here

Thank You to Our Early Supporters

None of this would have been possible without the organizations that believed in this community early and supported it without trying to shape it for their own agendas. A huge thank you to AutogenAI, Tessl, and Databricks for sponsoring and hosting events, providing venues, and backing a builder-first vision from day one.

Our Moat Is Our Speakers

The strength of London Agentic AI comes from the people who share their real experience, not polished marketing stories. Our speakers and panelists brought honest lessons from building Agentic AI systems in production. Real demos. Real failures. Real insights. That is our moat, and we will never compromise on it. A big thank you to Mike Taylor, Leo, Macey, Guillaume, Puneet, Eito, Sangram, Kyra, and Sultan for setting such a high bar for technical quality and authenticity.

Our Brand, Name and Identity

As Agentic AI becomes mainstream, it is natural to see more meetups and communities emerge using similar names. That trend will only continue. Many of these groups are tied to specific companies or products. There is nothing wrong with that. But London Agentic AI was founded differently. This community was created independently, from day one, with a single focus on technical depth, real world systems, and builders learning from builders. London Agentic AI is a group by agent builders, for agent builders.

Our differentiation is not the name. It is the quality of content, the honesty of discussions, and the technical bar we hold ourselves to. We are not here to sell, recruit, or promote agendas. We are here to build, evaluate, and ship Agentic AI systems.

Today, London Agentic AI exists primarily on Meetup, and it has worked extremely well for growing an open and accessible community. Over time, we will evolve our tooling and platforms where it makes sense, potentially including platforms like Luma, while staying true to the same principles that built this community from the start.

No matter where the community lives, the identity remains the same. Builder-first. Technically deep. Community-driven.

What’s Next in 2026

In 2026, we are doubling down on what makes London Agentic AI special. Deep technical content. Real world systems. Builder-led discussions, bringing the same vibes as San Francisco in unique way. We are kicking things off with Google DeepMind, one of the world’s leading AI labs with deep roots in the UK and a strong track record of delivering Agentic AI research and systems. Many more major players in the Agentic AI space are already lined up, and we are excited to share more soon. I am still not sure whether to move to Luma yet but we will see. We will be partnering with the AI conferences that needs the London presence bringing the best AI companies from USA and Europe together. Stay Tuned for the exciting updates in the new year.

Beyond that, we will be partnering with major AI conferences from around the world. Many of the most influential Agentic AI and infrastructure conversations currently happen only in San Francisco. In 2026, we want to bring that energy to London in unique and authentic way. Our goal is to work closely with global conferences, AI labs, and builder communities to create a strong connection between London and San Francisco. We want engineers, researchers, and practitioners from the US and Europe learning from each other, sharing real experiences, and building together.

London has the talent, the depth, and the momentum. In 2026, London Agentic AI will help bring the global Agentic AI ecosystem closer together, connecting major AI labs from the USA and Europe and turning London into a true hub for Agentic AI builders.

Thank You

Thank you to everyone who showed up, asked hard questions, shared knowledge, and helped shape this community. London Agentic AI is what it is because of you. I am incredibly excited about what we will do together as a community in 2026.
